Role purpose: He/she develops custom test applications in LabVIEW per customer requirements and collaborates with the manufacturing team on the production issues. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Develop and execute automated tests using the selected tool, which will likely require programming in NI (National Instruments) LabView. Support the test automation tool selection for an automated component testing in a NI (National Instruments) LabView/TestStand environment. Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture. Validate test equipment meets requirements by the MSA studies. Work on released production with a continuous improvement approach to improve the quality target with the support of the Test Automation Specialist on a specific product. Support the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance during the daily activities due to a production stop. Effectively communicate testing activities and findings.
