Mission
The System Consultant acts as a technical and managerial advisor supporting clients in the evaluation, supervision, and management of complex system development programs. The consultant ensures that proposed solutions meet contractual and technical requirements, oversees the V&V; process, manages Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Non-Conformances (NCs), and contributes to project planning and coordination. The role combines deep technical understanding with system-level oversight and stakeholder management. Key Accountabilities
Client Support & Technical Supervision
- Support the client in assessing design solutions and ensuring compliance with mission and contractual requirements.
- Review and validate engineering documentation, analyses, and verification plans from contractors or suppliers.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Contribute to the definition and tracking of system development schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate between client, subcontractors, and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
Verification, Validation & Quality Oversight
- Supervise the V&V; process to ensure traceability and completeness of testing activities.
- Manage ECPs, Non-Conformances, and deviations to ensure appropriate corrective actions.
- Support test readiness reviews, design reviews, and acceptance reviews.
Risk & Performance Management
- Identify programmatic and technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and monitor follow-up actions.
