TECHNICAL SOFTWARE ARCHITECT Cloud & AI Platform Architect Role Overview The

Cloud & AI Platform Architect

is responsible for designing and governing scalable, secure, and cloud-native platforms, supporting both enterprise applications and AI-based solutions. The role defines architectural standards, enables platform engineering practices, and drives automation and operational excellence across cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design cloud architectures on

AWS

and

Azure . Define and govern

Kubernetes (K8s)

platforms and deployment patterns. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using

Terraform . Develop automation and integration solutions with

Python . Design and optimize

CI/CD

pipelines and DevOps practices. Define

observability

capabilities, including monitoring, logging, and tracing. Ensure platform scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness. Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to establish architecture standards and best practices. Required Skills AWS Azure Kubernetes (K8s) Terraform Python CI/CD Observability Preferred Skills Agentic AI architectures RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Generative AI platforms and frameworks Success Measures Secure, scalable, and reliable platform architectures. High levels of automation and deployment efficiency. Strong observability and operational excellence.

The level of classification will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Tertiary, Distribution and Services sector. The final compensation package, including any variable components (such as MBO) or additional benefits.
