What functions will you perform?ID Energy Group is looking for a Business Development & M&A; Manager to join its growing Italian Team and play a key role in expanding renewable energy portfolio in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines a commercial mindset with strong analytical and deal-making skills. You will join a small local team based in Rome, while working closely with our colleagues in Hungary and Spain, reporting to the Head of Business Development Hungary, SEE & Italy.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with developers, investors, advisors and other key market participants.
- Screening and evaluating renewable energy projects from commercial, financial and strategic perspectives.
- Local management of the M&A; processesin Italy, from initial opportunity/partner identification and valuation through due diligence, negotiation and closing.
- Coordinating technical, legal, financial and commercial due diligence processes with internal teams.
- Manage the commercial negotiationswith project developers, partners and other counterparties.
- Monitoring the Italian renewable energy market, including regulatory developments, market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborating closely with our Hungarian and Spanish teams, sharing market insights, expertise and best practices across the organization.
- Representing the company in meetings with external stakeholders and contributing to the development of our position and network in the Italian market.
- Active involvement in other business initiatives, projects and ad-hoc tasks supporting the company’s growth and development in Italy.
Your profileIdeally, you have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A;, business development in renewable energy sector in similar role.
