Your seat to fill:
- Lead the development and sourcing of fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, and other material components for apparel collections, ensuring alignment with product vision, functionality, quality, and cost objectives
- Partner closely with Design and Product Development to identify and develop materials that support product concepts, performance requirements, and overall product strategy
- Manage seasonal material libraries and PLM documentation, ensuring accurate specifications, material approvals,
and readiness in line with product creation milestones
- Ensure all fabrics, trims, and material components meet required performance, quality, testing, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with mills, fabric and trim suppliers, and innovation partners, including negotiation of costs, lead times, MOQs, and development commitments
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity, quality performance, and sustainability initiatives while driving supplier optimization and sourcing efficiency
- Manage material development timelines and critical paths across multiple product categories, ensuring timely delivery of development samples, lab dips, strike-offs, and testing submissions
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to material availability, supplier capacity, quality, lead times, and other critical development dependencies
