At Salewa we are looking for a Product Developer Apparel who will be involved in managing the development process of technical apparel products, from concept phase to salesman sample production, ensuring alignment with design intent, quality standards, timing, and cost targets.
Working closely with Design, Product Management, and external suppliers,
this role supports the realization of innovative and high-performance products in line with the brand’s positioning and consumer expectations.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts and aesthetic requirements into detailed technical information within the PLM system, ensuring all data is regularly updated and accurate
- Maintain complete and updated records related to assigned styles throughout the development process
- Support R&D; activities by providing garment construction insights useful for fabric and trims development
- Manage prototypes and samples, ensuring Salewa quality standards, fit consistency, and on-time deliveries
