For our client we are looking for a PLANT MANAGER
Main Activities
Reporting to the General Manager Italy , the resource will have the duties of:
- Ensure that Quality, Cost, Delivery and People objectives of the plant are being met.
- Ensure local legislation is being respected at all times as well as internal compliance rules (e.g. SOX regulations).
- Drive the continuous improvement process to lead the plant towards operational excellence.
- Ensure the smooth start up of new products and equipment in the plant.
- Propose the annual Budget of the plant
- Frequent review of current state for operational and financial indicators, gap analysis versus Budget and drive of corrective actions to ensure objectives are being met on a constant basis.
- Implement and utilize adequate KPI’s to manage the objectives and provide monthly reporting on time
- Guarantee a safe working environment for all employees and visitors
- Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving Quality Objectives through advanced Quality Planning,
effective Problem solving and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Guarantee on time and in full delivery objectives towards all customers
- Continuous interaction with other sites and departments to ensure best practices are shared and applied throughout the operations area
- Drive the planning and smooth start of new Products, Technologies in close coordination with other areas, departments.
Professional Qualifications
- University Degree in Technical area (e.g. Mechanical Engineering) or MBA or other relevant formal education
- 5 to 10 years of operational and managerial experience
- Production Industry, Proven successful People Leadership expertise
- Relevant industry experience especially related to techniques and methods applied
- Good foundation in Lean Production Principles and Problem Solving
- Solid knowledge of finance aspects of the Business (familiar with P&L;, Variance analysis, Cash Flow etc)
