At United Petfood, quality isn’t just a department, it’s at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a proactive Quality Manager to lead and safeguard the quality of our dry petfood (for cats and dogs), ensuring that every kibble leaving our factory meets the highest standards. This is a key position where you will drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and play a vital role in a dynamic, international production environment.
Your role:
- Monitor production quality: You supervise daily production activities, check quality parameters, and identify non-conformities. You’ll implement immediate corrective and preventive actions to maintain consistent product quality.
- Oversee daily operations & solve problems: You supervise daily quality issues, from raw material checks to product complaints, and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Implement quality policies: You turn strategic business goals into practical, actionable plans. You’ll guide your colleagues, helping them solving day-to-day challenges with proactive improvements.
- Drive process & product improvement: You lead initiatives to continuously improve both products and processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and consistency. You’ll collaborate with R&D; to optimize formulas and support new product development.
- Support R&D; and product innovation: You provide quality guidance during product development and optimization projects, ensuring new and existing products meet nutritional standards, regulatory requirements, and operational feasibility.
- Manage complaints & implement corrective actions: You analyze product complaints, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to continuously enhance quality.
Who you are:
- You have (a first) experience in a quality role and are familiar with quality management systems.
- You have a solid knowledge of petfood legislation, regulatory requirements, and certification standards, and know how to turn these into practical, workable sol
