Job Description
Within the Group Reinsurance unit in the Group Head Office,we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.
In particular,the selected candidate will be part of the P&C; treaty underwriting stream that has the main responsibility to finalize and manage the reinsurance inward treaties. The selected candidate will join a team that closely interacts and collaborates with other Group Functions,Group Business Units,reinsurers,and brokers.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Underwrite P&C; treaty reinsurance from Group Business Units according to the internal evaluation and the market conditions
- Identify Group Business Units reinsurance needs and participate in the process of setting up and evaluating new reinsurance solutions,in collaboration with other Group Reinsurance functions
- Manage treaty renewal and administration
- Collaborate with other Group Reinsurance functions to offer advice and guidance on the drafting of new treaty wording,as well as the revision of existing ones

- Evaluate the technical performance of reinsurance treaties in the portfolio and define any corrective actions to maintain profitability

Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Economics,Statistics,Engineering,or any related field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in (re)insurance required,preferably in reinsurance or P&C; underwriting activities
- Advanced MS Office suite knowledge
- Proficient in English. Other European foreign languages such as Italian,French,German,Spanish will be considered a plus
