Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Installation Engineer.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Italy.
Accountabilities
- Identifycontract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design andmonitortheir compliancewithinthe assigned Project.
- Design,Coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power,Overhead Contact Line,Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.), ensuring itscompliancewith the contract, system requirements, and local regulations.
- Design,coordinateand verify the cableways layout and cable routeswithin technical rooms and along the track system, managing filling ratios, challenging existing pathways, and proposing new ones.
- Cooperate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator in the definition of all required information to defineequipmentBIM models, based on the target level of developmentidentifiedin the BIM Execution Plan.
- Prepare,attendor chair clash detection resolution meetings.Manage and seek resolution ofclashes amongRailway technologies.
