At this time of rapid expansion, TXT e-Tech, a company belonging to the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer for its Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit, who will join the Modelling & Simulation team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to various clients in the field of training simulation within the aerospace, defence and transport sectors.
Main responsibilities:
Development of Windows-only desktop applications in .NET C#;
Bug fixing and software maintenance;
Drafting of all documentation;
Application testing.
Required technical skills:
Knowledge of object-oriented programming;
Knowledge of key software development patterns;
Knowledge of the C# programming language;
Basic knowledge of concurrent programming;
Basic knowledge of the TCP/IP standard;
Basic knowledge of relational databases.
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of graphical frameworks such as WinForms;
Knowledge of UI/UX development principles;
Knowledge of the ARINC 429 protocol.
Education: A diploma or degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for and curiosity about technology, is proactive and adept at problem-solving, and possesses good communication and organisational skills. They are able to work both as part of a team and independently, organising their workload effectively. They are highly motivated to develop professionally and learn new skills, whilst also liaising directly with clients.
