We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers. /p h3Corporate Investment Banking Finance Area /h3 h3About the job: /h3 pGeneral Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant, also supporting management control and cost monitoring activities. /p pThe position is intended for a junior professional with approximately 2 years of experience in accounting and administration, able to work independently on recurring activities and eager to grow in a dynamic and international environment. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupplier onboarding and approval. /li liReview of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle. /li liRecording, checking and payment of invoices. /li liAccount reconciliations and review of outstanding items. /li liProcessing of travel expenses. /li liSupport for periodic and year-end closings. /li liMonitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis. /li liParticipation in the annual cost budgeting process. /li liMaintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers. /li liAccounts receivable invoicing and related controls. /li liReview and accounting of fees relating to services provided to and received from Head Office, ensuring accuracy, correct accounting allocation and compliance with deadlines. /li liSupport with tax compliance and tax payments, as well as preparation of documentation required for reviews, audits and internal controls. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 h3Education /h3 pBachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field, preferably or equivalent qualifications: /p ul liEconomics and Commerce. /li liBusiness Administration. /li liEconomics and Business Management. /li liEconomics, Banking and Insurance.
/li /ul h3Professional Experience /h3 ul liApproximately 2 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable/accounts receivable, administration or equivalent roles, preferably gained in structured companies, service organizations or international environments. /li liHands-on experience with accounts payable processes, reconciliations, accounting closings and day-to-day interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders is highly valued. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liItalian: native speaker or C1. /li liEnglish: at least B2. /li liSpanish: knowledge of Spanish is considered an advantage. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liGood command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables and data management/analysis) and Word. /li liKnowledge of ERP systems or accounting software is a plus. /li liSolid knowledge of general accounting, double-entry bookkeeping and financial statement principles. /li liFamiliarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, account reconciliations and key periodic closing activities. /li /ul h3Soft Skills / Personal Skills: /h3 ul liCuriosity, motivation and a strong willingness to learn, combined with the ability to quickly grasp new activities and processes. /li liProactivity, operational autonomy and initiative, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities and environments. /li liAccuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility when managing data, documents and deadlines. /li liGood interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and empathy when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
