ITS Governance and FinOps Specialist

Job Purpose:

Support the ITS Function in managing IT financial processes — including procurement support, data entry, budget tracking and administrative activities — while progressively developing autonomy and coordination skills.

Additionally, the role will contribute to the management of cloud financial resources, supporting the adoption of FinOps practices and ensuring effective cost monitoring and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

She/He will be responsible for:

- Supporting IT finance administration (Purchase Requisitions, POs, invoices);
- Contributing to periodic reporting activities using tools such as Power BI;
- Monitoring IT expenditures and budget forecasting activities;
- Supporting chargeback and re‑charge activities;
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data;
- Coordinating small groups of colleagues to ensure task allocation and respect for deadlines;
- Demonstrating autonomy and proactive organization of assigned activities;
- Monitoring and analyzing cloud spending across multiple providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP);
- Contributing to cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, identification of unused resources, and selection of cost‑efficient services;
- Collaborating with technical and finance teams to support the adoption of FinOps practices.





Functional Knowledge and minimum experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management or equivalent;
- 1–2 years of experience in Finance & Controlling or IT administration;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
- Basic knowledge of Finance and Procurement;
- Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office tools;
- Basic understanding of project management principles;
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing cost models (e.g., pay-as-you-go, reserved instances);
- Basic familiarity with cloud billing tools and dashboards.

- Ability to coordinate small workgroups;
- Ability to work autonomously and organize tasks efficiently;
- Willingness to travel abroad independently.

Employment terms:

The role is classified at Level B under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico).

The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 43.110,62.

The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
