pL2 IT Support Engineer /ppstrongLocation: /strong Rome, Italy /ppstrongExperience: /strong 3–5 years /ppbr / /ppRole Overview /ppWe are looking for an strongL2 IT Support Engineer /strong to provide onsite IT and data center support at the Italian location.
The ideal candidate should have good hands-on experience with strongWindows environments /strong along with a basic understanding of strongVMware/ESXi, server troubleshooting, data center operations, and cabling /strong.
/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliProvide onsite strongL2 IT support /strong and basic troubleshooting for servers and IT infrastructure.
/liliTroubleshoot strongWindows-related issues /strong and perform basic system checks.
/liliHave basic knowledge of strongVMware ESXi and VMware technologies /strong.
/liliPerform basic troubleshooting when a server or system is down, including checking connections and interfaces.
/liliPerform basic strongdata center management /strong activities.
/liliHandle and track strongnetwork/server cabling /strong and identify cable connections between equipment.
/liliAssist with connecting and replacing network/server interfaces as required.
/liliPerform basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting.
/liliCoordinate with remote teams and local site contacts for issue resolution.
/liliFollow standard troubleshooting procedures and escalate complex issues when required.
/li /ulpRequired Skills Experience /pulliExperience in strongL2 IT Support / Data Center Support /strong.
/liliGood knowledge of strongWindows operating systems /strong and troubleshooting.
/liliBasic knowledge of strongVMware ESXi and VMware technologies /strong.
/liliBasic understanding of strongserver infrastructure and troubleshooting /strong.
/liliBasic knowledge of strongdata center operations and management /strong.
/liliBasic understanding of strongnetwork/server cabling and cable tracking /strong.
/liliAbility to troubleshoot basic strongconnectivity and hardware issues /strong.
/liliGood communication and coordination skills.
/liliAbility to work independently at the customer site.
/li /ulpPreferred Profile /pulliPrevious experience working in a strongdata center environment /strong.
/liliExperience supporting strongservers, VMware/ESXi, and Windows environments /strong.
/liliCandidates with hands-on exposure to onsite infrastructure support are preferred.
/liliVMware/ESXi expertise is strongnot required at an expert level /strong; basic practical knowledge is sufficient /li /ulpbr / /p
