Supply Chain Specialist – Order Management & Customer OperationsLocation: Quattordio, Piedmont, ItalyIndustry: Industrial Manufacturing / Supply ChainEmployment Type: Full-timeWork Arrangement: On-siteAbout the RoleAn established organisation in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support the management of a strategic customer account and progressively take ownership of the relationship and operational process.Working alongside a senior team member initially, the role will gradually assume responsibility for managing the end-to-end flow from customer order confirmation through to final delivery.The position is ideal for someone with experience in supply chain, order management or customer operations who is comfortable coordinating across production, planning, procurement and logistics to ensure reliable and on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer orders following quotation and order confirmation.Act as a direct point of contact with the customer's procurement team throughout the order lifecycle.Monitor and manage customer delivery plans and agreed timelines.Coordinate internally with Production, Planning and Logistics to ensure delivery requirements are achievable.Continuously align:Customer ordersProduction capacityMaterial availability and procurement lead timesDelivery schedulesProactively identify and manage operational issues, including delays,
material shortages and changes to production plans.Provide regular order-status updates and reporting to customers and internal management.Ensure agreed delivery deadlines and on-time delivery targets are achieved.Support the senior team member in managing the strategic customer relationship during the initial onboarding period.Progressively take greater ownership of the customer account and associated operational processes.RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Order Management, Customer Operations, Technical Customer Service or a related role.Experience managing complex end-to-end operational processes.Strong focus on deadlines, delivery performance and operational problem solving.Good understanding of production and logistics processes, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing environment.Experience coordinating across multiple internal functions.Previous experience within a manufacturing organisation.Ability to understand and work with production plans and schedules.Familiarity with ERP systems.English proficiency at B2 level.Strong communication, coordination and organisational skills.Ability to proactively identify issues and drive them through to resolution.Key SkillsSupply Chain | Order Management | Customer Operations | Customer Service | Production Planning | Logistics | Procurement | Delivery Management | Order Fulfilment | ERP | Manufacturing | Industrial Operations | Customer Relationship Management | On-Time Delivery | Supply Chain Coordination | Problem Solving | B2B Customer Management | English
