You will work in an international environment characterized by high technology complexity. /p pThe candidate will take responsibility of the followingbactivities /b: /p ul liDesign in 2D and in 3D format, as mandatory skills. Consider customer requirements, timing target, quality and reliability targets, cost optimization and design for manufacturability in all new equipment design; /li liPrepare layouts showing to Client how and where the equipment will be installed in their plant; /li /ul ul liDevelop all mechanical aspects of a project; prepare and/or verify basic and detail engineering, both internal and external, according to the level of responsibility; /li liEstimate, during basic engineer phases, the weights for structures/equipment to better fit and optimize with the technical design requirements. Develop bills of materials; /li liPerform the basic/detail engineering elaboration about input data received (from Project Engineer, Mechanical Dept. Manager, Process Engineer, RD dept., Proposal dept.); /li liManage engineering external studio,



taking responsibility too as timing and schedule proper progress; /li /ul ul liDesign equipment in compliance with all applicable regulation; define the project standard specification in cooperation with the Project Engineer as well as with Contract targets; /li liUnderstand, develop and review design of civil works for the installation of the machines; /li liPerform, if necessary, on‑site inspections from site surveys up to the ascertaining of the document "as built". /li liPerform and review basic/detail engineering. Convert 2D drawings into 3D models and creation of drawings from 3D models and their verification analysis (ex. FEM); /li liDetailed knowledge about the most important manufacturing processes adopted in mechanical industry in order to choose the most appropriate manufacturing procedure; /li liParticipate, when necessary, to inspections and meetings at suppliers/ sites/ production/ customer/ manufacturing premises; /li liGenerate scope of work specifications that define the work included, work excluded and battery limits along with technical requirements for each equipment package or components; /li liManage and supervise the execution of tasks, which have been outsourced. /li /ul pbWhat we ask for:



/b /p ul liBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Mechanical Design or Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with at least 5 years of experiences); /li liExperience in mechanical design is a must; /li liKnowledge of Autodesk software as AutoCad and Inventor is a must; /li liKnowledge of the main technological transformation processes for the production of semi-finished products (CNC milling, sheet metal bending, laser cutting, welding, ecc); /li liSteel Industry knowledge and experience (at least 3 years) is a plus; /li liKnowledge of Autodesk Pro.File software is a plus; /li liGood Knowledge of CAD and FEM software, Ansys/Nastran/Recap/Inventor/AutoCad/Navisworks preferably; /li liExperience with 3D / 2D CAD and technical calculation methods; /li liEffective knowledge of English language; /li liKnowledge of the most advanced PC tools (MS Excel, MS Word, ecc); /li liWillingness to travel; /li liCollaborative approach, team working and problem solving skills, flexibility, critical thinking and “Can do” attitude; /li liGood coordination and planning skills. /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p ul liThe opportunity to contribute to UpstreamTAT - Electrical Arc Furnaces activities with a direct impact on business performance /li liA dynamic and international environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged /li liContinuous learning opportunities through training, exposure to new technologies and cross-functional collaboration. /li liHybrid working model according to company policy and role requirements /li liPerformance Management through an annual appraisal and development process /li liCompany Canteen available on site /li liSupplementary healthcare coverage /li liWell-being initiatives to support employees /li /ul pFor the position, the starting gross annual salary will be bfrom /b€ 40.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process. /p pWorkplace: Castellanza (VA) /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
