Why this role
We spend €800k+ per month on paid social across seven markets, and the plan is to spend considerably more. Budget isn't the ceiling here. Creative is. This isn't one product with four angles you'll have burned through by month three. Our itch relief supplement alone runs from paw licking to yeasty ears to dust mite allergies, each with its own buyers, objections and competitors. Across the full product range and seven markets, there is more to dig into than we can currently get through.

The role
We're looking for a Italian-native, tempo pieno, in-house, experienced* creative strategist / direct response copywriter. You will write in Italian or English,
whichever you're most comfortable with.
You'll be responsible for net-new top-of-funnel videos, end to end. You find the concept, write the script, brief the creator (or AI avatar), direct the edit, ship it live, and read the results.
We're building a sustainable, long-term brand. Therefore we care about how we position ourselves. You see this as an exciting challenge, rather than a hassle.
You'll work closely with our creative team while you'll have full freedom to test your own ideas.
After successfully feeding our funnel, there will be room to produce middle funnel creatives, static ads or write landing pages, thereby truly owning the complete funnel.
*We care about what you have actually done, not how long you have been doing it.
Daily activities
Your day, roughly: researching and concepting, scripting, briefing and QA on edits, launching, reading numbers.
Research is scheduled time, not something squeezed in between deliverables.
You decide: which concepts to pursue, format choice, which editor gets which job, and when something goes live.
You'll produce the Italian or English version of the video, we'll take care of translating it across our other markets.
About you
You have proven experience writing high-performing direct response video scripts,
and you can explain why they performed. You have experience in overseeing the production process end to end, briefing creators, editors and launching the ads. You're comfortable holding performance and brand positioning in the same hand. Compliance and claim limits are hard boundaries. You're comfortable with autonomy. We have frameworks and clear boundaries, what you do inside these guidelines is up to you.
You are diligent and structured: Several projects and tests running at once, nothing forgotten and nobody having to chase you. You double check your own work before you hand it over.
You operate with urgency and like doing in three days what others take three weeks for.
You're fluent in Italian and English.
Experience in the pet supplement industry is a strong plus.
