The company serves a broad range of sectors including consumer goods, healthcare, and personal care, delivering advanced packaging and printed product solutions that help improve product visibility, support brand protection, and enhance supply chain performance.With an international footprint spanning several dozen manufacturing sites and a workforce of thousands of employees worldwide, the group has established itself as a financially solid, operationally sophisticated, and forward-looking partner to many leading multinational customers.About the Role:For a profitable and strategically important manufacturing site in the Bolzano area, we are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to take full operational ownership of the site and strengthen performance, structure, and leadership discipline.This is a senior on-site role for a strong operations leader who is comfortable stepping into a historically under-managed environment and bringing a more structured, data-driven, KPI-led approach to site leadership.The business is already profitable, but the group is looking for a leader who can re-establish control, improve performance transparency, and drive stronger accountability across the plant.The role operates in an international matrix structure, reporting into regional leadership, and requires close cross-functional collaboration across operations and commercial interfaces.
Exposure to customer-facing discussions from an operational perspective is considered a plus.Relocation support can be considered for the right candidate.Responsibilities:Take full operational leadership responsibility for the manufacturing siteRe-establish structure, control, and accountability across day-to-day plant operationsLead the site with a data-driven management style, using KPIs, performance reviews, and operational transparency as core toolsOversee and coordinate all key site functions including production, maintenance, quality, planning, and supply chainEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient site operations in line with group standardsMonitor and improve operational and financial performance, with clear focus on productivity, service, cost, and profitabilityBuild and implement structured KPI dashboards, routines, and reporting disciplineIdentify inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives across processes, output, quality,
and costStrengthen leadership standards and team accountability in a site that requires a more structured operational setupWork closely with regional and international stakeholdersCollaborate with commercial stakeholders and support operational alignment in customer-related matters where neededDrive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiativesCandidate Profile:Proven leadership experience as Plant Manager, Site Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Plant Director, or similar in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in operations leadership, ideally in packaging, printing, converting, industrial manufacturing, or a comparable process-driven production environmentExperience improving or stabilizing performance in a less structured or under-managed plant environmentStrong data-driven mindset with clear comfort around KPIs, reporting, performance management, and operational decision-making based on factsSolid understanding of plant performance drivers across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and profitabilityStrong leadership presence with the ability to create structure, discipline, and ownership across teamsComfortable in a fully on-site role (5 days per week)Experience working in an international is an advantageExposure to commercial collaboration or customer-facing operational discussions is a plusFluent in Italian and English; What they Offer : Permanent full-time leadership roleFull site ownership in a profitable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to make a visible operational impact in a business with strong improvement potentialInternational group environment with regional and cross-functional exposureCompetitive salary packagePerformance-related bonusRelocation support may be available for the right candidate
