pI am currently recruiting a Design Manager for a reputable General Contractor to be based on a large scale data centre project in the Milan area, the next project on a large campus that will see work continue for years to come.

/ppbr / /ppIn terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity.
Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of CSA and ME packages experience is key.

/ppbr / /ppSalary is very much dependant on experience, but there is flexibility for high performers who have successfully delivered large data centre projects in the past.

/strong /pulliRegular meetings with the production team and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately /liliManage and coordinate external consultants /liliPrepare technical specifications /liliLiaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works /liliControl the design process, from planning application through to project completion /liliEnsure consultants prepare the detailed design by Employers Requirement and Contractors Proposals /liliManage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered /liliSet up information registers and ensure information control is following all relevant procedures /liliReview design development to allow construction of works to follow safe working practices /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongDesign Manager Background: /strong /pulliOver five years' experience as a design/technical manager with a developer/main contractor /liliPrevious ME experience is essential /liliMain contracting background /liliHistory of completing projects on time and budget /lilistrongEU PASSPORT OR ITALIAN RTW ESSENTIAL /strong /liliA degree in Architecture or Engineering /li /ulpbr / /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven Design Manager to work with a leading and reputable main contractor in their field.
