We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges. /ph3Role Overview /h3pWe are seeking reliable and safety-focused professional drivers to support a large-scale mapping data collection project. Drivers will operate client-provided vehicles equipped with specialised mapping equipment to collect high-quality street-level data across assigned zones. This role requires strong driving skills, technical awareness, and the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with field coordinators. /ppTravel and extended assignments away from home (hotel-based work) are required. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliSafely operate client-provided vehicles equipped with mapping and data collection equipment /liliCollect mapping data within assigned zones efficiently and in compliance with project guidelines /liliHandle and protect all client-provided vehicles, devices, and equipment /liliMaintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and basic upkeep /liliResearch and identify safe local parking locations to ensure vehicle and equipment security /liliSecurely park, cover, and safeguard the vehicle daily at designated locations /liliReport and handle incidents, including traffic accidents and public interactions, in a professional manner /liliCoordinate daily activities, assignments, and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator /liliCommunicate technical, mechanical,
or operational issues promptly /liliMeet daily and weekly delivery targets in collaboration with project coordinators /liliTravel long distances as required and work in "hotel mode" during assignments /liliMaintain accurate inventory and device logs in the designated system or application /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3ulliMinimum 5 years of driving experience /liliAt least 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics, courier) /liliGood English /liliExperience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) is strongly preferred /liliDefensive, calm, and safety-oriented driving style /liliComfortable driving in high-traffic and stressful conditions (e.g., rush hour) /liliFamiliarity with GPS devices and navigation tools /liliGood knowledge of local roads, neighbourhoods, and traffic patterns in the working country /liliPolite, professional, and respectful demeanour when interacting with the public /liliBasic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., changing tires, reading vehicle gauges) /li /ulh3Additional Skills Attributes: /h3ulliHigh sense of responsibility and attention to detail /liliAbility to follow operational procedures and safety guidelines /liliStrong time management and reliability /liliComfortable working independently in the field /liliWillingness to travel and stay on assignment for extended periods /li /ulpWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analysing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
