Their mission: to provide expertise, innovation and the ability to deliver. /ppFor over 20 years, Abylsen has established itself as a major player in engineering consultancy in Europe and supports more than 660 clients with their industrial, digital and operational projects. /ppOur areas of expertise: /pulliRD /liliProduction operations /liliDigital IT /liliIndustrialization /liliValidation testing /liliMaintenance safety /li /ulpWe are looking for a Mechanical System Engineer to join our Rail Engineering Unit and contribute to advanced railway projects, with a focus on the development and integration of gangway and railway coupling subsystems. /ppMain activities: /pulliDefine, manage, and verify mechanical subsystem requirements in compliance with railway standards and project specifications. /liliSupport the integration of mechanical subsystems into railway vehicles, managing mechanical, kinematic, structural, and functional interfaces. /liliContribute to subsystem architecture, configuration, and operating modes. /liliCoordinate Verification Validation activities, including functional, mechanical, and integration testing. /liliAct as the technical reference for assigned subsystems, interfacing with customers, suppliers, designers, and project teams. /liliParticipate in Design Reviews and technical meetings. /liliCollaborate with Requirements Management, Mechanical Design,
Structural Engineering, RAMS, Safety, Validation, and Manufacturing teams. /liliPrepare and review technical specifications, interface documentation, test procedures, and verification reports. /li /ulpTechnical skills: /pulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. /liliExperience or knowledge of System Engineering applied to mechanical systems. /liliExperience in requirements management, interface definition, mechanical integration, and VV. /liliKnowledge of mechanical/kinematic interfaces, loads, movements, installation constraints, and operating conditions. /liliGood communication skills and proficiency in technical English. /liliExperience in the railway industry and knowledge of gangway, coupler, or inter-vehicle connection systems will be considered a plus. /li /ulpOther information: /pulliWorkplace: Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy /liliSmartworking: 1 day per week /li /ulpWe offer: /pulliPermanent contract /liliRAL: K /liliSupplementary health care assistance "Fondo Est" /liliFree access to +500 gyms throughout Italy /li /ulpNo barriers should hold talent back!
