SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects. /ph3Purpose of the position: /h3pAs 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Asset Based Services BL (ABSER) within the Offshore Operations Department. /ph3How can you support us? /h3pHere below your responsibilities: /pulliCoordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, in order to ensure efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices /liliAssist the Offshore Construction Manager with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board /liliSupervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work,
in order to comply with the quality and safety standard /liliCoordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases /liliEnsure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status /liliLiaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities /liliLiaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production /liliSolve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project /liliEnsure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensures that the daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures /liliMotivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness /liliEnsure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner /liliReport incidents and near-miss events /liliManage the Crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV launching and underwater operations /liliAssist marine operations if required /liliProvide a construction report at the end of each shift /liliAssist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation and monitoring of the stinger and JLT /liliEnsure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked /li /ulh3What are we looking for? /h3ulliEducation: Preferably with bachelor degree in civil, mechanical or naval engineering.
/liliExperience: 10-15 years of experience in the OG business + 5-10 years of experience in Offshore Installation projects /liliLanguages: Italian and English B2/C1 /li /ulh3What else should you know? /h3pYou will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the scope assigned. /ph3What we can offer to you: /h3ulliPermanent Contract– CCNL Energia e Petrolio /liliFor overseas contract (offshore): Basic Pay not lower than 40.000 € plus overseas allowances /liliLocation: Abroad.
