WE ARE HIRING: IT Support Specialist (L2) – Desktop & Client Services (m/f/d)
Location: Via Togliatti 7/11, 41030, Modena, Italy
Employment Type: Full-time, fixed-term (12 months) – with an option for extension
Working Hours: 40 hours/week, fixed office hours – no flexibility
Work Model: 100% on-site – no remote or hybrid work
Start Date: Immediately – onboarding in September

About the Role
On behalf of a large global automotive client, we are looking for motivated IT Support Specialists (L2) to join our team in Modena. This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile major project and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level desktop support (remotely and on-site)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, MS Office, printers, peripherals)
- Handle service tickets in accordance with SLAs
- Set up and configure workstations
- Support upgrades, patches, and infrastructure activities
- Document solutions and troubleshooting steps
- Escalate complex cases to third-level support
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or an IT helpdesk (L1/L2)
- Good knowledge of Windows and common business applications
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Language Requirements
- Italian: B2 or higher (certified)
- English: B2 or higher (certified)
Work Authorization
- Valid, unrestricted work authorization for Italy is required
- No sponsorship or visa support available
Availability
- Immediately – onboarding in September
- Maximum 2 weeks' notice period
