We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the pre-opening of COYA Milan.
Experience you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role in high-end brand
- Previous experience in pre-opening, including kitchen set-up, team training & recruitment, and menu development
- Relevant experience in a high-volume, high end kitchen environment and attention to detail
- To have excellent knowledge of food preparation, including working with limitations such as allergies
- To hold overall responsibility for kitchen staffing levels, keeping them in line with business trends whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and quality and adhering to agreed labour budget
- To be responsible for managing all staffing issues within the Kitchen department including rotas, hiring, holiday cover, in-house training, professional development, performance management and day-to-day feedback on performance
- To consistently foster a spirit of harmony and cohesion between the kitchen brigade and all other departments
- To have a complete understanding and comply with the Company policies relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
- To be friendly, attentive and customer service focused
- It is essential to have a high level of both spoken and written Italian xlwpduy and English
