pbAbout the job /b /ppWe are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team. /ppbResponsibilities: /b /pulliPartner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend software /liliDesign and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools features /liliPerformance of day-by-day bug fixing /li /ulpbMinimum qualifications: /b /pulli3+ years of experience /liliGood knowledge of Java Enterprise /liliGood Knowledge of Spring Framework /liliGood knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plus /liliAbility to adapt and learn new skills quickly /liliBeing fluent in English, both written and spoken. /li /ulpbPreferred qualifications: /b /pulliExperience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loads /liliKnowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka) /liliKnowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plus /li /ulpbMore on qualifications: /b /pulliYou are comfortable working independently, while functioning as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, dialogue, development, learning, and growth. /liliYou care about solving big, systemic problems. You look beyond the surface to understand root causes so that you can build long-term solutions for the whole ecosystem. /liliYou are a person open to developing new ideas and contributing expertise, who enjoys challenges, seeks knowledge, and are a team builder. /liliYou can analyze product requirements, manage tasks and partner with your teammates to meet the deadlines. /li /ulpWe offer a variety of contracts but, please, note that our intention is to establish a long-term relationship. We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT and GMT+2.
