Working closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and external partners, the selected professional will contribute to the design of innovative material solutions aimed at improving tyre performance, sustainability and manufacturing robustness. /ppThis position is particularly suitable for professionals with experience in the strongtyre industry, rubber compounding, elastomer technologies, raw materials development or industrial RD environments /strong. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey responsibilities: /strong /ppstrongemRaw Materials Strategy Technology Scouting /em /strong /pulliIdentify, evaluate and introduce new raw materials, technologies and suppliers to enhance compound performance, sustainability and industrial robustness. /liliMonitor industry trends and technological developments within the tyre, rubber and polymer sectors. /liliSupport strategic initiatives related to innovation and sustainable materials. /li /ulpstrongemCompound Development Project Management /em /strong /pulliLead the development of tyre compounds for industrial applications, translating product performance requirements into robust formulation strategies. /liliDefine, develop and optimize rubber compounds through laboratory and industrial validation activities. /liliManage material development projects from concept through industrialization.
/liliAnalyse laboratory and manufacturing data to support effective technical decision-making. /li /ulpstrongemCross-Functional Technical Leadership /em /strong /pulliCollaborate closely with Procurement, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality and HSE teams. /liliSupport the qualification and implementation of new raw materials and compounds across production sites. /liliContribute to troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to materials and compounds. /li /ulpstrongemExternal Collaboration Innovation /em /strong /pulliManage relationships with research centres, universities, suppliers and external technical partners. /liliPromote technical collaborations and innovation projects aligned with Prometeon's RD roadmap. /liliReview scientific literature, patents and supplier technical documentation to identify development opportunities. /li /ulpstrongemKnowledge Sharing Mentoring /em /strong /pulliAct as a technical reference within the Materials Team. /liliSupport the growth of junior colleagues through mentoring and technical coaching. /liliPromote best practices in material characterization, compounding and testing methodologies. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongQualifications required: /strong /ppWe are looking for a senior professional with the following qualifications and skills: /pullistrongEducational background /strong: Master’s degree in strongChemistry /strong or related fields such as strongMaterials Science /strong, strongMaterials Engineering /strong, strongEnvironmental Engineering /strong or strongChemical Engineering /strong (preferably with a focus on polymers). A PhD or equivalent specialization is considered a plus. /lilistrongRelevant experience /strong: several years of proven experience in raw materials, rubber compounds or related industrial RD activities, preferably in the tyre,
rubber or polymer sector. /liliStrong knowledge of laboratory analytical techniques, including strongTGA /strong, strongDSC /strong, strongIR Spectroscopy /strong, strongTitrations /strong and strongBET /strong.
