For our Client - a globally recognized industrial technology company, we are looking for Global Industry & Product Strategy Manager who will be responsible for developing selected industry segments and product areas in an international environment.
The role focuses on market analysis, product positioning, go-to-market strategy and business development, translating customer and market insights into commercial opportunities.
The person in this position will work closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D; and Marketing, supporting new product launches, developing sales and marketing tools, preparing industry-specific propositions and providing training for commercial teams.
The role offers a global scope, significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence both marketing strategy and commercial direction across international markets.
Location: Poland, Italy or the Netherlands (depending on the candidate’s location and profile)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Key Account Management, Industry Management, Business Development or a related commercial role.
- Experience in a B2B industrial / technical environment.
- Strong understanding of customer-facing and commercial processes.
- Experience working with industrial products, machinery, automation, material handling, packaging or similar technical solutions would be an advantage.
- Ability to understand technical products and translate technical features into customer value and business benefits.
- Experience in managing relationships with strategic customers and key accounts.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use market and customer data to make business decisions.
- Experience with tools such as CRM, Power BI or other business intelligence solutions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Fluent English;
additional languages would be an advantage.
- Technical or engineering background is preferred.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement growth strategies for selected industries, products and strategic customers.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs and emerging industry trends to support business growth.
- Manage product positioning and value propositions, ensuring they address real customer and market requirements.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and understand their business, technical and commercial needs.
- Work with Sales and Key Account teams to identify new opportunities and support strategic customer development.
- Cooperate with Product Management, R&D;, Operations and Marketing on product development and new product introductions.
- Prepare business cases and commercial recommendations based on market and customer insights.
- Monitor competitors, market dynamics and pricing to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop presentations, sales tools and customer-specific materials supporting commercial activities.
- Provide product and industry expertise to Sales teams and participate in customer meetings when required.
- Contribute to strategic account planning and drive long-term customer development
- Track market and commercial performance and recommend actions to improve growth and profitability.
