ph3Job Description: /h3 h3Month-End Year-End Closing /h3 ul liAct as the primary point of contact for all finance-related processes for assigned entities. /li liOwn and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. /li liPrepare, review, and post journal entries, including payroll, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and other closing adjustments. /li liReconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, including GR/IR, inventory-related accounts, and other key closing balances. /li liReview and analyze AR and AP aging reports, perform related AR/AP accounting and reconciliations, and follow up on outstanding or reconciling items /li liPerform accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, including cost accounting, inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), and variance analysis between standard and actual costs. /li liPrepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards. /li liSupport tax and VAT compliance, including quarterly and annual filings. /li liCoordinate year-end specific activities such as actuarial and pension provisions and transfer pricing adjustments. /li liIdentify and drive improvements to closing processes, internal controls, and efficiency.br/ /li /ul h3Audit Compliance /h3 ul liBe the primary contact for external audits, prepare essential documentation, and facilitate audit processes.
/li liEnsure compliance with SOX requirements through regular monitoring and execution of controls.br/ /li /ul h3Process Optimization /h3 ul liContinuously improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.br/ /li /ul h3Financial Reporting /h3 ul liHandle US GAAP tax reporting, along with various period-end reports and ad hoc reporting.br/ /li /ul h3Additional Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork closely with tax advisors, accounting providers, and Corporate Tax to determine deferred tax. /li liConduct statistical analysis, research, and support internal process optimization. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul libEducation: /b Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, or Business Informatics /li libExperience: /b At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting. /li libTechnical Skills: /b Advanced Excel skills (VBA is a plus) and proficiency with SAP, Outlook, and statistical software /li libFamiliarity with Italian accounting standards /b , VAT, and statutory reporting requirements /li libAnalytical Skills: /b Strong numeracy and analytical ability /li libWork Style: /b Dependable, deadline-oriented, and organized /li libPersonal Qualities: /b Flexible, resilient, accountable, and eager to learn /li libLanguages: /b Fluent in English and Italian /li /ul h3Compensation Information: /h3 pThe expected annual gross salary range for this position is between 44.000 and 58.000 EUR.
