You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable backend services that power critical features and support rapid growth. /p ul liThis is a bfully onsite position /b , based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. bWe are open to support with relocation efforts. /b /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul lipbAPI Service Architecture - /b Design and build bRESTful or GraphQL APIs /b , microservices, and business logic using bNode.js and TypeScript /b. /p /li lipbDatabase Design Integration - /b Model data and manage queries using bSupabase /b and bPostgreSQL /b , including functions, row-level security,



and real-time features. /p /li lipbCloud Infrastructure - /b Deploy and manage services on bGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) /b, particularly with bCloud Run /b , Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/Sub. /p /li lipbCode Quality Testing - /b Write clean, testable code using bunit, integration, and end-to-end testing /b frameworks (e.g., Jest). Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance practices. /p /li lipbSecurity Reliability - /b Implement secure-by-default solutions for bauthentication /b , bauthorization /b , and bdata protection /b , following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles. /p /li lipbMonitoring Operations - /b Set up blogging, monitoring, and alerting /b for backend services. Own incident response and uptime improvements. /p /li lipbTeam Collaboration - /b Participate in architecture discussions, mentor team members, and document your decisions and systems for internal knowledge sharing. /p /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul lip5+ years in backend engineering roles; /p /li lipProficiency in bNode.js /b and bTypeScript; /b /p /li lipStrong experience with bSupabase /b or equivalent PostgreSQL-based backend services; /p /li lipHands-on experience with bcloud platforms /b (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), including deploying and managing services using bserverless compute /b (e.g., Cloud Run, AWS Lambda,
