They're developing the core systems that power their robot's ability to process information, learn, and interact with the world in real time.The role:Build and scale the backend systems and APIs behind a humanoid robot's cognitive platformOwn real-time communication and messaging infrastructure (WebSockets, MQTT/NATS/Redis Pub/Sub) alongside distributed systems architectureManage containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/Helm) and contribute to CI/CD automationWork across NoSQL and SQL databases, with close collaboration across frontend, robotics, and infrastructure teamsDrive performance, reliability, and code quality through reviews and ongoing optimisationAbout you:Degree-qualified (Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience),
with 2+ years' backend engineering under your beltDeep Python expertise, including concurrent programming (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing)Track record building distributed systems with WebSockets/Pub/Sub messaging and DockerComfortable with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.G. MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and Git-based workflowsStrong communicator and problem-solver, fluent in EnglishDesirables:CI/CD tooling (e.G.
