with which they share virtual results and ensure consistency with previous experimental experience /liliThe Safety Project Engineer (PE), who acts as the managerial/organizational interface with the project platform /li /ulpThe Virtual Analysis Engineer is responsible for: /pulliContributing to the preparation and tuning of Safety calculation models /liliPerforming numerical simulations for the Safety virtual validation plan /liliPreparing summary documentation of the simulations performed /liliProposing and sharing design improvements with engineering teams to achieve Safety targets, in line with cost, weight, and development time constraints /liliEnsuring compliance with all standards, specifications, and calculation best practices /liliGenerating lessons learned and updating related specifications, standards, and best practices /li /ulh3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the FEM modeling phase, participating in the setup and preparation of CAE models for vehicle/subsystems aimed at crash analysis /liliPerform numerical simulations for various safety load cases /liliReview and analyze simulation results in alignment with experimental data and share them with project team,
in alignment with SAFETY PE/PPL /liliPrepare appropriate summary documentation of simulations /liliActively support the virtual validation process by proposing and evaluating improvements through simulations /liliShare improvement actions with design teams /liliDevelop calculation methodologies to ensure the appropriate level of specialist expertise /liliPerform benchmarking activities, competitor analysis, and monitoring of technology and supplier/competitor know-how /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3ulli2 - 5 years of experience /liliKnowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) /liliKnowledge of pre-processing and post-processing tools (BetaCAE suite) /liliBasic knowledge of mechanical behavior of materials (metals, polymers, plastics, etc.) /liliFluent spoken and written English /li /ulh3Preferred Requirements /h3ulliKnowledge of homologation test standards and automotive rating protocols /liliBasic knowledge of sheet metal design and stamping processes /liliBasic knowledge of CAD/PLM systems /liliBasic knowledge of LS-Dyna FE code /li /ulh3Offer /h3ulliSalary range: from 38.000€ to 45.000 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements /liliCollective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area. /li /ulpAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
