at least 5years’ continuous professional experiencein one or more of the following specialist areas: EmergencyRoom,Primary Health Care,Orthopaedicsand Trauma and/or Intensive Care Unit
Primary & Emergency Nurse supervises, teaches and works alongside the local staff colleagues providing treatment and care for both adult and paediatric patients seen in the facility.
He/She will collaborate with the local and expat nursing colleagues, medical and technical personnel, to deliver the highest possible standards of care and treatment.
The primary &Emergency; Nurse is responsible to the MC, who is in charge of the management and organization of the project.
Assignment to one or more departments will be made based on your specific skills and professional experience by the MC . The expat nurse organizes the work of the local staff, together with the Medical Coordinator of the project.
All EMERGENCY personnel are expected to know and follow the criteria, guidelines, protocols,
and the diagnosis and treatment standards in use in the Centre, and to ensure the correct compilation of clinical records and statistics in both computer and paper formats.
management of nursing triage, in collaboration with the local colleagues;
provide care of patients within the specialties provided, in collaboration with the local colleagues;
care of critically ill patients for stabilization and referral, in collaboration with the local colleagues;
supervise the correct application and supervision of the nursing protocols, including those regarding hygiene and sterility;
supervise correct compilation and maintenance of nursing notes, clinical files and patient records;
Manage data and prepare reports in cooperation with the MC
assistance in clinical research and record keeping as required by the scientific programmes of the specialist sector of the Medical Division of EMERGENCY.
