Job Description
At SGS, we are looking for an experienced Product Certification Operational Manager to lead our Industrial Safety team in Italy.
Industrial Safety Areas
SGS Industrial Safety operates in the following areas:
- Mechanical Safety (machinery, lifts, pressure vessels)
- Functional and Process Safety
- Structural Safety (construction products)
- Fire & Explosion Safety (ATEX)
- Electrical Safety
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and operational management of Industrial Safety in Italy.
- Take full ownership of operational performance, resource planning, and P&L.;
- Ensure the maintenance and extension of national and international accreditations and regulatory authorizations.
- Develop and expand our Industrial Safety service portfolio in line with market trends and emerging industry needs.
- Lead and develop internal teams and external technical experts, promoting capability development through coaching and collaboration.
- Partner with SGS affiliates worldwide to deliver international projects and strengthen cross-border collaboration.
- Support commercial growth by contributing to business development and client engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
- Business-level proficiency in English
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in TIC, Technical Services, or Operations
- Proven expertise in statutory and regulatory compliance services across competitive markets.
