Our client, a lovely international family recently settled in Florence, Italy, is seeking a reliable, experienced, and long‐term Housekeeper to maintain their beautiful home to the highest standard.

This is a permanent, full‐time position with flexibility to travel internationally for extended periods (France and London).
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the residence (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.).
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and linen care.
- Making beds, changing sheets, and maintaining household order.
- Household errands.
- Care and cleaning of delicate materials, furniture, and surfaces.
- Assisting with meal preparation or service when needed.
- Occasional help watching the children for short periods (there is a full‐time nanny).
- Pet‐friendly attitude and willingness to help if a dog joins the family in the future.
- Travelling with the family for several months per year to other residences.
- Driving required.
- Cooking is a strong plus.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years' experience working in private households with excellent references.
- Proven record of long‐term employment with families (no short contracts).
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a well‐presented home.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to work as part of a household team.
- Driving licence required.
- Team player must collaborate well with other staff.
- Experience with and around children required, happy to occasionally help watching them for short periods (there is a full‐time nanny and mother always present).
- Cooking skills will be a strong plus.
