We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects. /ph3Who we are supporting /h3pThe NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO’s member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. /ppThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including: /pulliCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO’s communication networks and information systems against cyber threats. /liliCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO’s military commanders to plan and execute operations. /liliSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces. /liliElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO’s mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks. /liliInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO’s information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers. /li /ulpOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO’s communication and information technology capabilities. /ph3The program /h3h3Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS) /h3pThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. /ppTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise’s: NATO International Civilians (NIC)’s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)’s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. /ph3Role ID – /h3h3Role Background /h3pThe role will focus on the setup, configuration, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Audio/Video,



Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Voice over IP (VoIP/VoSIP) and associated end‑user equipment. /ppThe successful candidate will support both day-to-day operations and exercises/events, ensuring that systems and equipment are properly configured, operationally ready and available when required. /ph3Deliverable-Based Project /h3pThis is a deliverable-based project, where successful service delivery is measured against defined deliverables and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Deliverables must be completed within the agreed timelines, meet the required quality and operational standards, and be properly documented and formally accepted. Full contractual payment is linked to the successful completion and acceptance of the deliverables and achievement of the applicable KPIs. /ph3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3ulliSet up, configure and provide real‑time technical support for VIP and Command Staff VTC sessions, ensuring systems are operational before and throughout scheduled meetings. /liliInstall, configure and support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, including implementing approved system changes and configuration updates. /liliInstall, configure and support VoIP and VoSIP equipment, including user profiles, connectivity and associated endpoint configuration. /liliDiagnose and restore VTC and Voice services following incidents or service interruptions. /liliPrepare, transport, install, connect, test and recover Audio/Video equipment and peripherals required for meetings, exercises, events and operational activities. /liliSet up and dismantle projectors, sound equipment, presentation systems and associated A/V equipment. /liliProvide first‑line technical support for common VTC, VoIP/VoSIP, desktop VTC software and connectivity issues, escalating more complex incidents to the appropriate technical teams. /liliPerform routine system health and readiness checks on assigned equipment, including performance, connectivity and system status verification. /liliSupport the deployment and recovery of CIS and endpoint equipment associated with routine service requests, exercises and operational activities. /liliCoordinate with other technical teams when resolving incidents, deploying equipment or supporting wider CIS service activities.



/liliWork through authorized Work Orders, Service Requests and tasking instructions, ensuring assigned activities are completed within agreed timelines and priorities. /liliMaintain accurate records of installations, configurations, updates, incidents, fixes and equipment deployments within the designated ITSM and asset management systems. /liliMaintain accurate inventory and deployment records and ensure completed activities are fully traceable and auditable. /liliProvide progress updates and promptly escalation technical issues, risks or service‑impacting events. /liliFollow established NATO/NCIA technical standards, security requirements, procedures, checklists and operational instructions. /liliProvide on‑site support during extended hours when required for exercises, projects, service transitions or operational activities. /li /ulh3Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications /h3ulliMinimum 2 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing and maintaining core network architecture for large organisations. /liliPractical hands‑on experience with VTC technologies. /liliPractical understanding of VoIP technologies. /liliPractical understanding of IP addressing and network connectivity. /liliExperience working with ticketing or IT Service Management (ITSM) systems, including logging, tracking and updating technical tasks and incidents. /liliExperience working within structured technical environments and following defined procedures, processes, checklists and technical instructions. /liliBasic understanding of IT security practices, including access control, password handling and secure use of devices. /liliAbility to follow and develop documented technical procedures and instructions. /liliAbility to troubleshoot technical issues and determine when escalation to specialist teams is required. /liliAbility to prioritise multiple technical tasks in a fast‑paced operational environment, particularly during exercises or service disruptions. /liliStrong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with end users, technical teams and stakeholders. /liliAbility to maintain accurate technical documentation, including ticket updates, activity logs and checklists. /liliWillingness and ability to work fully on‑site, including extended hours when operationally required. /liliEnglish proficiency of at least STANAG 6001 Level 3 or equivalent CEFR B2/C1. /li /ulh3Working Location /h3ulliSigonella, Italy /li /ulh3Working Policy /h3ulliOnsite /li /ulh3Travel /h3ulliSome travel to other NATO sites may be required /li /ulh3Security Clearance /h3ullibValid NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance /b. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
