The European Investment Bank (EIB) is the European Union's bank. It works in support of EU development and economic co-operation policies by financing investment in both public and private sectors. The EIB is seeking to recruit for its Representation in Kyiv, a Municipal and Regional Development Specialist. This is a full-time position.
This is a 3-year fixed term contract based in the EIB Office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Purpose
The Municipal and Regional Development Specialist will contribute to the EIB's activities in Ukraine and, where required, in other countries covered by the EIB's Eastern Neighbourhood operations.
You will contribute to the identification, appraisal, implementation monitoring and advisory support of investment projects in the fields of municipal infrastructure and broader urban and regional development – including social infrastructure (in particular social & affordable housing and education), urban mobility, solid waste, water and wastewater, as well as public buildings.
You will support the EIB's growing role in Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction efforts, with particular focus on strengthening local service delivery, improving municipal infrastructure, enhancing housing conditions, enhancing education, urban mobility and solid waste, supporting regional cohesion and promoting resilient and inclusive urban development.
