We are looking for a SAP Basis Administrator / SAP Basis Consultant with 2–3 years of experience to join the SAP Technology team.
The resource will be involved in management, monitoring, and technical support activities on SAP environments, contributing to the correct functioning of application and infrastructure platforms, both in traditional contexts and in evolutionary scenarios related to SAP S/4HANA, cloud, and RISE with SAP.
Main responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- – Operational management and monitoring of SAP NetWeaver, ECC and/or S/4HANA systems.
- – Execution of key SAP Basis tasks using standard transactions.
- – Monitoring and managing job schedulers, batch processes, and application queues.
- – Management and troubleshooting of RFC connections, SOAP/REST Web Services, and network connectivity.
- – Management of SSL certificates, Trust Manager and STRUST configurations.
- – Support for basic SAP HANA administration tasks, including monitoring, backup, and alert analysis.
- – Performance and technical issue analysis using SAP traces, logs, and diagnostic tools.
- – Operational support on Linux systems, including log analysis, filesystem navigation, process verification, and use of key system commands.
- – Management of transport procedures and Change Requests.
– Collaboration with application, infrastructure, and project teams to resolve incidents, changes, and development activities.

Required skills
The ideal candidate has:
- – 2–3 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or SAP Basis Consultant.
- – Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA architectures.
- – Mastery of the main SAP Basis transactions.
- – Experience managing batch jobs, RFCs, SOAP/REST Web Services, SSL certificates, and Trust Manager.
- – Basic knowledge of SAP HANA administration.
- – Ability to analyze technical and performance issues using SAP trace, log, and diagnostic tools.
- – Operational experience on Linux systems.
- – Knowledge of SAP transport procedures and Change Request management.
– Good analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with technical and functional teams.

Preferred requirements
The following will constitute a preferential qualification:
- – Experience with SAP RISE environments or cloud infrastructures, particularly Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- – Experience with SAP Web Dispatcher , SAProuter and SAP Cloud Connector .
- – Knowledge of Single Sign-On scenarios , including SAML, Kerberos/SPNEGO, and SAP Fiori authentication.
- – Partecipazione ad attività di upgrade, system copy o migrazioni verso SAP S/4HANA.
- – Familiarità con strumenti di monitoraggio e gestione SAP quali SAP Focused Run, SAP Solution Manager o SAP Cloud ALM.

- – Attitudine al lavoro in team.
- – Approccio strutturato all’analisi e alla risoluzione dei problemi.
- – Interesse verso l’evoluzione delle architetture SAP in ambito cloud e S/4HANA.
