The Candidate:
A curious, commercially minded professional with a few years of e-commerce experience and a strong interest in tourism. You naturally ask why a product is, or is not, selling and look beyond price for the answer. You understand how visibility, positioning, content, reviews, availability, and customer experience influence performance.
You are comfortable working with e-commerce metrics such as product views, conversion rate (CVR), add-to-cart rate (ATC), bookings, and margin. You do not need to be an advanced data analyst,
but you understand what these numbers mean, why they matter, and how to use them to make better decisions.
Desired Experience (Skills):
- 2+ years working in e-commerce, category management, merchandising, product management, or digital marketing
- 2+ years working in tourism, hospitality, or local travel services
- Experience analyzing and improving the performance of online products
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as TourCMS, Bokun, or WordPress
Desired Skills/Applications:
- Fluent in English
- Curious and commercially minded, with a strong problem-solving approach
- Understanding of e-commerce metrics, including CVR, ATC, traffic, bookings, and margin
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-management abilities
