YOUR MISSION IN THIS ROLE
As a Group Senior Category Manager - IT, based in Milan, you will bring your unique strengths to the Group Indirect Procurement, helping to define and execute IT procurement strategies across the Group, ensuring alignment with business priorities, technology roadmaps, governance and compliance requirements.
The role manages end-to-end sourcing activities for IT categories, delivering value, innovation, risk mitigation and supplier performance while acting as a trusted procurement partner for IT and business stakeholders.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Group Category Management to drive meaningful results and shape the way we work and grow.
More Specifically, You Will
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes for IT categories: RFP/RFQ, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting
- Support the development and execution of Group IT category strategies in coordination with IT leadership
- Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and IT services agreements
- Identify savings, cost avoidance and value creation opportunities through demand challenge, benchmarking and supplier competition
- Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, renewals and issue resolution for key IT vendors
