Costa Vita Tours is a boutique tour company offering intimate walking experiences in Rome. Our tours focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and meaningful cultural moments rather than traditional lecture-style tours.
We host small groups (maximum 8 guests) and focus on creating memorable experiences for international travelers who want to explore Rome in a deeper and more personal way.
Our tours highlight the beauty, history, and hidden corners of the historic center through engaging storytelling and carefully curated routes.
We are currently looking for passionate and charismatic guides to join our team and lead small-group cultural walking tours in Rome.
Responsibilities:
- Lead small group walking tours through the historic center of Rome
- Share engaging stories about Roman history, culture, legends, and daily life
- Create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests
- Manage group flow and timing during the tour
- Coordinate with partner locations when applicable
- Represent Costa Vita Tours with professionalism and hospitality
Requirements:
- Valid authorization to work as a tour guide in Italy
- Licensed Guida Turistica for Rome/Lazio _or equivalent legal guiding qualification_
- Excellent English (native or near-native level)
- Strong storytelling and public speaking ability
- Charismatic, engaging personality and strong guest-hosting skills
- Ability to lead small groups through busy historic areas of Rome
- Availability during evenings and weekends
Preferred but not required:
- Additional languages (Spanish, French, German)
- Background in art history, architecture, cinema, or fashion
