Freelance Tour Guide - Syracuse (Siracusa) | Guydeez

Do you enjoy introducing travelers to Syracuse’s ancient history, vibrant culture, and lesser-known corners? Guydeez is looking for enthusiastic locals to join our global community as freelance tour hosts. You’ll lead private, tailor-made walking tours for small groups and help visitors experience the city like locals. No official guide license is required — passion, local insight, and a welcoming attitude are what matter most.

What You’ll Do
- Host private walking tours (3-8 hours) through Syracuse’s historic streets, neighborhoods, and landmarks
- Share stories, cultural insights, and historical background
- Adjust each tour to guests’ interests, pace, and preferences




- Recommend local food spots, traditions, and attractions

Who We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Syracuse’s culture, neighborhoods, and main sights
- Fluent in at least one of the following: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with international guests
- Able to guide tours lasting several hours
- Previous experience in tourism or hospitality is helpful but not required
- Passion for gastronomy, wine, or storytelling is a plus

- Contract Type: Freelance / Independent
- Earnings: Based on tours completed (typically around €120/day) + performance bonuses
