About Your Role
You will act as the technical authority and solution architect for Italian client card and payment systems while also serving as the front‑line technical lead for the client. This role blends strategic system design, architectural governance, and deep hands‑on support, ensuring all technical queries, incidents, and enhancements are handled effectively and with minimal business impact.
You will own the end‑to‑end technical landscape, guide design decisions, and lead complex problem resolution,
while maintaining close day‑to‑day engagement with client stakeholders. This role is critical to ensuring platform resilience, regulatory compliance, and the continued success of a high‑revenue, mission‑critical client.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the overall technical architect for the VisionPLUS card processing platform and its integrations
- Serve as the primary senior technical contact for client, handling complex queries, escalations, and design discussions
- Lead major incident management, including deep‑dive diagnostics, cross‑team coordination, and root‑cause analysis. Provide hands‑on support for critical production issues across online and batch processing
- Design and govern distributed‑to‑mainframe integrations, including APIs and middleware. Review and approve technical changes, enhancements, and release plans to ensure system stability
- Mentor Advisor‑ and Engineer‑level team members, providing technical leaders
