Role Description The 3D Designer is a full-time, remote role responsible for creating high-quality 3D visualizations for exhibition booths, showrooms, and branded environments. Day-to-day tasks include developing 3D concepts, modeling structures and furniture, and applying lighting and materials to produce realistic renderings. The role involves collaborating with project managers and graphic designers to translate client briefs into visually compelling, functional designs.
The 3D Designer will prepare animation walkthroughs or fly-throughs when needed, refine designs based on feedback, and ensure files are optimized for production and presentation. Consistent communication, timely delivery of assets, and adherence to brand guidelines are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong 3D design and 3D modeling skills for exhibits, interiors, and branded environments.
- Proficiency in lighting and material application to create realistic renderings and visualizations.
- Experience with animation for presentation walkthroughs, fly-throughs, or product displays.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles to integrate branding, signage, and visual identities into 3D concepts.
- Comfort working with industry-standard 3D and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, V-Ray, or similar).
