Scope Of The Role:
The Construction Site Logistics Manager is responsible for all aspects of the logistics supply chain, the Receiving of Material, Stores management, development, and optimisation of site logistics solutions to meet the needs of the project. They will be required to manage the movement of people, goods, equipment at the construction site and control site facilities management.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role:
- Ensure early engagement with the project planner; the commercial managers procuring the works and the senior construction manager on the site.
- Ensure that the construction team is fully aware of logistics activities in support of the build program.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve issues using internal and external resources.
- Discuss technical requirements and specifications.
- Independently consolidate and analyse information from various sources to develop complex logistics plans.
