Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Site-based, Northern Italy

We are expanding our team and looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer.
What you will do
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of mechanical systems: HVAC, pumping and piping systems, chillers, air handling units, hydraulic balancing
- Functional testing, performance verification and troubleshooting during start-up
- FAT/SAT execution and documentation, QA/QC test packs, punch list management
- Day-by-day coordination with design teams, installation contractors and clients, directly on site
- Compliance verification with applicable technical standards and project specifications
What we are looking for
- Degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, or equivalent technical background
- At least 1 year of experience in commissioning or start-up of mechanical/HVAC systems
- Hands-on experience with measurement instruments (flow, pressure, temperature)
- Ability to read P&IDs;, technical drawings and functional specifications
- The RISE approach: you solve problems in the field rather than escalate them, you are curious beyond your own discipline, and you adapt quickly when the project changes — because complex projects always do
- Working knowledge of Italian (B1 or higher) for site coordination; English proficiency
- Driving licence (B) — essential requirement
- Full availability to work on construction sites, mainly in Northern Italy
