The role:
As the Business Development Manager – WSS Vertical Expansion, you will be responsible for growing Xylem Europe’s portfolio and market presence across the Industrial and Municipal sectors. The role combines portfolio promotion with the identification and development of new vertical markets, supported by strong market analysis to drive business growth.
You will develop and execute business and go-to-market strategies, support channel and product line growth, and contribute to the expansion of the WSS vertical across Europe, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment processes and pumping applications.
Success in this role requires adaptability, creative problem-solving, and strong cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will act as a catalyst for growth, driving new business opportunities and expanding market presence.
Principal responsibilities:
- Lead business development initiatives to drive growth and strengthen Xylem WSS market presence across Europe, with a focus on Industrial and Municipal verticals.
- Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities and strategic initiatives to expand market presence, increase revenue, and support long-term growth objectives.
- Develop and implement go-to-market, channel expansion, and vertical growth strategies tailored to regional market needs and aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and monitor customer needs, competitor activities, industry trends, and EU legislation to identify emerging op
