We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI team focused on bringing ML & Generative AI into the heart of our operations (e.g. claims, underwriting, customer support).
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to redefine the core operative processes, leveraging ML & GenAI techniques to enhance not only efficiency but, most importantly, the overall effectiveness and quality of outcomes.
You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to design and deliver AI-driven products that create tangible business value and redefine the future of ops at Prima.
Lead the end-to-end development of ML & GenAI solutions to transform the operations journey, from problem framing and data exploration to production deployment,
tackling business challenges with autonomy and scientific rigor;
Set and uphold high technical standards across multiple AI initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency;
Mentor fellow DSs and accelerate team learning, providing structure in the way of working, and driving a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Extensive experience (3+ years) in data science or applied machine learning, leading end-to-end initiatives in complex technical domains and delivering measurable business impact through ML and GenAI solutions;
Strong analytical and quantitative mindset able to translate data into insights, assess model performance, and guide decision-making with evidence and clarity;Practical technical experience in coding (strong proficiency in Python and knowledge of coding best practices) and in ML/GenAI (experience with building ML models using frameworks such as scikit-learn and XGBoost, and fam
