ABOUT THE ROLE
For an important Onshore project , we are looking for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer – PMC , with strong experience in industrial modularized projects and specific expertise in Onshore Modularization .
The successful candidate will operate as a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) , acting as the Client's technical reference for Civil Structural Engineering and Modularization activities.
The role will also involve acting as a Technical Advisor , supporting the Client in technical and design decisions, challenging proposed solutions where necessary, and supervising the engineering activities carried out by contractors.
A strong multidisciplinary understanding of the plant is required, together with practical experience in module configuration, transportation, lifting, handling and installation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the Client's technical representative , supervising contractor engineering activities.
Review and verify engineering activities related to Civil, Structural and Modularization disciplines.
Provide technical advice and recommend alternative and optimized design solutions.
Review Onshore modularized plant configurations , considering structures, equipment, piping and interfaces.
Manage and verify interfaces between PAUs, pipe racks, structures and equipment .
Assess module configurations considering transportation, lifting, handling and installation requirements .
Evaluate legs-up / legs-down configurations according to structural and transportation requirements.
Review module connection and interface solutions .
Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Structural,
Piping, Mechanical, Process and E&I; disciplines.
Identify technical issues and propose alternative engineering solutions and improvements to the Client.
Participate in Design Reviews, Technical Meetings and Coordination Meetings with the Client, contractors and suppliers.
Monitor engineering progress and ensure the correct implementation of modularization strategies .
Support the Client in assessing technical solutions in terms of constructability, transportation, installation and overall project efficiency .
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Solid experience (at least 10 years of experience) in Onshore industrial, Oil & Gas or Energy projects .
Significant experience in Onshore modularized industrial projects .
Strong knowledge of industrial structures and modularized plant configurations .
Good knowledge of PAUs, pipe racks, modular structures and equipment .
Proven experience in assessing module transportation, lifting, handling and installation requirements .
Solid understanding of Modularization Engineering principles and methodologies.
Previous experience in PMC, Engineering Management, Technical Coordination or Client Representation roles.
Ability to effectively interface with Clients, contractors and suppliers .
Good command of English .

Ability to independently assess and develop engineering solutions , rather than simply implementing predefined instructions.
Strong Technical Advisory and Problem-Solving skills.
Ability to challenge engineering solutions and guide the Client towards the most effective configuration in terms of structure, transportation, installation, schedule and cost .
Strong technical leadership and multidisciplinary interface management skills.
Pragmatic, analytical and solution-oriented approach.
Ability to operate effectively in a PMC environment , representing the Client's technical interests towards contractors and suppliers.
The salary for this role ranges from €[60.000] to €[80.000]
The position is governed by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Commerce and Tertiary Sector applied by our company.
The final salary within the stated range will be determined based on the candidate's technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, using objective and neutral criteria.
In exceptional cases, where a candidate's profile significantly exceeds the requirements associated with the stated salary range, a review of the compensation may be considered, subject to internal approval.
