We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Site Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering activities across ASEE Ltd projects in Italy. This role is responsible for overseeing site engineering functions, ensuring technical excellence, and supporting project delivery in line with specifications, client requirements, and industry standards, particularly within complex and critical environments such as data centres.Non è protetto/a delle competenze necessarie per questa opportunità? Legga la descrizione completa qui sotto per avere un quadro completo dei requisiti richiesti.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all site engineering activities across projectsReview and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design documentationEnsure all works are carried out in accordance with design intent and project requirementsCoordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and client representativesSupervise and mentor site engineers and junior team membersMonitor project progress and ensure engineering milestones are achievedIdentify and resolve complex technical issues and provide engineering solutionsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsOversee quality control and ensure works meet required standardsSupport planning, scheduling, and resource allocationManage site documentation, reports,
and engineering recordsContribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and project deliverySkills & CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Strong understanding of construction and engineering processesLeadership: Ability to lead and develop engineering teamsProblem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex site issuesCommunication: Clear and professional when liaising with stakeholdersOrganisation: Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAttention to Detail: Ensures quality and accuracy in engineering worksHealth & Safety Focus: Strong commitment to safe working practicesDecision-Making: Confident in making critical engineering decisionsQualifications & ExperienceDegree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical xdwybme or related discipline)Proven experience in a Site Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of construction and engineering practicesExperience within large-scale or complex projects (e.g. data centres) highly desirableAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong understanding of health & safety regulations and site practicesExcellent leadership and team management skillsGood IT skills for reporting and documentationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull driving licenceFull unrestricted right to work in the EU without future visa or sponsorship requirement
