Compensation & Benefits:
In line with our commitment to transparency and people development, the gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is up to €80.000, commensurate with experience and skills. The position is covered by the 'CCNL Commercio e Terziario' (National Collective Labor Agreement for Commerce and Service Sector), alongside a benefits package that includes meal vouchers, wellbeing initiatives (including Wellhub), and growth opportunities.
Role and responsibilities
We are looking for a
Databricks Champion
to join our Data team and act as a technical reference across Databricks projects. The role combines hands-on technical expertise, project leadership, client advisory and pre-sales activities,
with the opportunity to drive the growth of Databricks capabilities within the organization.
Activities:
Act as the
Databricks technical expert and reference point
across projects.
Lead Databricks projects, guiding both the internal team and the client.
Support clients in defining
data architectures and Databricks solutions .
Contribute to
pre-sales activities , including technical workshops, proposals and client presentations.
Mentor team members and promote Databricks best practices and knowledge sharing.
Stay up to date with the Databricks ecosystem and drive the adoption of new capabilities.
Required Skills
Certified Databricks Champion;
A minimum of
6-7 years of overall experience
in Data, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or related fields;
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
in enterprise projects;
Proven experience working as a Databricks technical lead / expert, with the
ability to guide both technical teams and clients;
Provenability to translate business requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions;
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business audiences;
Experience contributing to or leading pre-sales activities and technical proposals;
Strong problem-solving, leadership and mentoring skills;
Fluent Englishand ability to work in an international environment.
